Individual and Team Training and Development Programmes We work with senior leaders, line managers, HR/OD and learning and development professionals to tailor-make training programmes which meet their needs – always focusing on individual and/or team growth, and how it links to improved performance at an individual, team and organisational level. Our approach is strongly experiential, understanding that not only do people come from a variety of backgrounds and have different levels of skills and experience, they also differ from each other in the way they learn, and how efficiently and effectively they learn. We take all of these aspects on board to ensure that learners of all cultures, styles and experience are catered for and able to improve their performance. Organisational Development Consultancy With leadership being more crucial now than ever, we engage with senior leaders to support their work in building effective, performing, and healthy organisations, with cultures that enable them to survive, and even flourish. We help clients find a way to do what they need to do, and support leaders in making sure their organisations are able to deliver their strategies, and the achievement of their goals. That might be by working with senior teams to create strategies for survival, or by working with whole organisations to design and deliver innovative culture change and people development programmes that enable them to successfully navigate through volatile times. Sadly we also sometimes do it by working with HR teams to manage downsizing programmes, but even when this is the only option, it’s possible to do it in a way that protects business interests while supporting and meeting the needs of those people affected. Our preference is always to work with our clients in a way which builds internal capacity – enabling, rather than creating dependency. Our Diagnosis, Design, Delivery process allows us to do this, whilst achieving meaningful and lasting results. Networks, Communities and Events As part of our commitment to enabling and supporting our clients, we run a number of network groups, providing opportunities for community members to network with colleagues, share experiences and success, and solve ‘live’ problems in a supportive environment. We run the North West OD Community specifically for OD professionals, and CPD Networking for anyone interested in personal and organisational development. We also support a Directors’ network group for chief executives and senior directors of large organisations from around the region, giving them the opportunity to get together to consider some of the big issues they’re facing and how best to do that. Members of these groups get support from us and each other through on-line forums, and meetings held in our own rooms in The View Two Gallery and in other city centre venues. |
