Design

CPD’s programmes are designed to help organisations sustain improvements long after CPD’s work is done.  We live our values and are generous in sharing what we know to build internal capacity.  Our legacy is knowing that our clients have the people and skills to deliver their own future.  Because each of our clients requires a different approach we rarely apply the exact same development solution.

Every organisational culture is different, and any personal or organisational development work must take this into account.  As people come from a variety of backgrounds and have different levels of skills and experience.  They also differ from each other in the way they learn (their preferred learning style) and how efficiently and effectively they learn.  We take all these aspects on board and our solutions and training and development events are created to ensure that learners of all cultures, styles and experience are catered for and able to improve their performance.  We are honest and flexible in approach.  We can and do change our minds as circumstances evolve and have the confidence to explain why.

We describe our training and development programmes as ‘events’ because they are intended to be memorable and engaging.  They are always ‘professional-life changing’ and are built to inspire, using highly experienced and motivational trainers.  Our events are entertaining and fun, because we believe that an audience enjoying what they are doing is a hugely receptive one.  With clients who want to be really ambitious, we create events which are ground-breaking in approach and result.

Delivery

CPD is committed, reliable and professional with an exceptional approach to project management and ‘event’ logistics.  Rigorous quality procedures apply to all CPD trainers and facilitators and all are engaged in continuous improvement processes.  The CPD team meets regularly to build and strengthen the relationships between trainers so there is a continual sharing of experience and best practice.
